Is it possible to use AD authentication and local accounts at the same time?

We have a cluster that currently only uses Local accounts but we are going to connect new servers in the Cluster to AD, is it possible to have both AD and Local users log on?

Yes, it is definitely possible to combine local accounts with AD accounts. It's actually very common to combine them.
