Hello,
My questions is about Windows Defender on DMA servers, is it considered an Antivirus and we have to follow the exclusions mentioned in this article?
Thanks.
Good question! We indeed may need to clarify this in our documentation...
Defender is indeed an Antivirus, but this one is actually the least intrusive one and it also runs on all our internal servers, including our QA clusters. So, I believe we should be able to make an exception for Defender... I'll pick this up internally to see if we can make this exception and add this to our documentation.
UPDATE: we will effectively update our documentation and add this exception for Defender.

Great! Thank you for sharing this info.
We noticed also that on the bpa tab, it’s showing ‘No antivirus DLLs found’ while Windows Defender is enabled.
Is that normal? Or it should show something about Win Defender?
