Exciting news! The retro recipes are now open for external contributions. Until now, only Skyline members could share their retro recipes, but now everyone is welcome to contribute. Have you recently had an enjoyable or inspiring retrospective meeting with your colleagues? Share the experience, so others can give it a try. Together, we’re working towards making our workplace as Agile as possible.
For those new to retro recipes, let us bring you up to speed. These recipes describe engaging and often creative retrospectives in a unique recipe format. Instead of a straightforward account of the retrospective, you’ll find a list of ingredients followed by a step-by-step section. To immerse you even further, we use recipe-specific terms, like “mise-en-place” instead of “setup”. Retro recipes cater to both Agile and non-Agile environments, offering a user-friendly approach accessible to anyone, Scrum Master or not. So, if you’re in need of a fun retrospective, visit our retro recipes page!
Eager to create your own retro recipe? There are only two essential conditions:
- We exclusively accept and publish submissions based on the author’s firsthand experience. Retro recipes that haven’t been personally tried and tested won’t be considered for publication.
- Craft your retro recipe in the format of a recipe, complete with a list of ingredients and a step-by-step section.
Feel free to spice up your recipe with pictures, GIFs, quotes, fun subtitles, and anything else you can think of.
And here’s a bonus: Did you know submitting your retro recipe can get you up to 1000 DevOps Points? Get started on your retro recipe right away with our new template!
