Hi Dojo,
I understand that Windows 2022 is still the recommended OS to host DM:
https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Reference/DataMiner_Compute_Requirements.html

Is there any update for Windows 2025?
Thanks

Hi Alberto,

We’re currently in the process of validating usage of DataMiner with Windows Server 2025.
To ensure compatibility we’re performing a thorough examination which we’re hoping to wrap up by the end of June. Once our testing has concluded and Windows 2025 proves to be compatible, we’ll update our Compute Requirements to recommend this as the latest version.

One important note already is compatibility for connectors which make use of JScript.
Since the Windows 11 24H2 update and by default in Windows Server 2025, Microsoft has altered the JScript DLLs resulting in a change in behaviour. See Known Issue: JScript QActions. A validator has been added to DIS and CI/CD pipelines to warn the developer of JScript usage.

With Kind Regards,

Thanks for thorough feedback, Simon

Much appreciated – Marking this question as solved and I'll keep an eye on the Win 2025 announcements during Summer.

Best!
