I recently downgraded our Lab/QA DMS from 10.3.12FR/10.4.1WebApp to 10.3.6 +HF. After the downgrade, I noticed when comparing Dataminer versions between the systems that all of the WebApp libraries were showing older in the Lab then in PROD. When I checked the files directly, they are the same versions via file properties in both DMS's.
I followed the steps below, including step 3 to downgrade...

Hi Shawn,
The file information displayed in the Cube About window is generated once at startup of SLNet and cached throughout its lifetime. For everything in the Files\* folder that makes sense, as a new version can typically only be placed in that folder as part of an upgrade, which requires a restart of the software. For files in the WebPages\* folders that is no longer the case now that we have independent web updates.
In your situation, I believe the hotfix on top of 10.3.6 contains a new build of the WebAPIs, and that web-only hotfix did not require a restart of SLNet. If you restart the DataMiner once, the correct versions should get reported from then onwards.
Bert thanks! Your explanation was spot on, I did restarts following the initial downgrade but not after the web upgrade and once I did the final restart, everything is aligned. Appreciate your time and explanation, cheers!
