Hi Community,

Is there a reason why my service name can contain one ‘%’ char, but not multiple?

Hi Ive,

The % character is part of the list of restricted characters for naming elements, services, views, etc (Naming of elements, services, views, etc. | DataMiner Docs)

You can find the complete list here Forbidden characters | DataMiner Docs

And I do believe the underlying reason results from the characters allowed when creating folders and files which are needed when you create an element/service/…
