What exactly does the “DeleteAllDataDMA.dmaupgrade” do?

This package is located in the Dataminer/tools folder in Dataminer version 9.6 and above.

Besides the obvious, delete all DMA data, what exactly does this package do and what are its use cases for a customer? For MYSQL or Cassandra?

Hi Laurens, Ryan,

Please keep in mind that the current delete package does not remove:

  • Profile parameters, profile definitions, profile instances (C:\Skyline DataMiner\Profiles)
  • Dashboards (new dashboard app) (C:\Skyline DataMiner\Dashboards)

I double checked against DMA version 10.0.7.0-9247
