Hi All

Just a quick visio question, When setting a variable for instance on a search box and with multiple panels on a page like the following:

SetVar – Filter where SetVar is the shape data, whatever is typed is visible on all panels.

Usually I would use a property that would be different on all panels to make a var name that wont be used more than once, but in my case I dont have this.

Can you set var to something like Filter[this service]

or is there another way to do this?
Can you use page var or card var?

Thanks

Hi Ryan,

Please have a look at Turning a shape into a control to update a session variable | DataMiner Docs. By using the Options field with the expected scope, you can achieve what you’re looking for.

Kind Regards,

Jarno
