Upgrade path from DataMiner 9.6 to 10.1

Hi,

I would just like to get some clarity about the recommended upgrade path, we are currently running DataMiner version 9.6. To get to version 10.1 can we upgrade directly to this version? Or do we need to install DataMiner 10.0 and then install 10.1?

Thanks!

Hi,

As this page mentions:

“

  • To upgrade to a major DataMiner version that is several versions higher than the current version, upload a package for each major version change. For example, to upgrade from 9.0 to 10.0, you will first need to upgrade to 9.5, then to 9.6, and then to 10.0.

“

In this specific case it means when coming from 9.6, first upgrade to 10.0 and then upgrade to 10.1
