Recently bound our servers to the domain, was able to log in with Local and Domain Users. Configured failover and after restarting Dataminer services getting
|SLDataMiner.exe|5308|CDataMiner::GetInfoFunc|INF|-1|Unsuccessfull connection attempt from <not authenticated>. This user is member of an unknown group.(hr = 0x80040277)
And no longer able to log in, Primary Dataminer just shows that it is starting up with no progress percentage.
Dataminer 9.5 CU12 with HF RN21716. Unable to upgrade due to customized software set.
Hi Phillip,
I am having exactly the same issue, but this is on DataMiner 9.6 CU6.
I get the starting up message ( it has been like this for 5 days now):
And SLDataMiner log has nothing but that error:
Yeah, I have to do the same. I’m not sure what causes this issue.
I'm not sure what exactly went wrong (it may be some kind of syncing/configuration issue) but DataMiner should always allow users to log in as the built-in Administrator (local Windows Administrator user) to recover from these kinds of issues. After logging in as the built-in Administrator you can re-add the domain groups/users through System Center and verify the failover config is correct.
Hi Jens,
It’s not that I cannot login with either the local or domain accounts. I can and have done so when the agents are single threaded. Once I configure failover, the system is slow to start up. The active primary eventually just shows Dataminer is starting up (with no progress percentage). To recover I have to switch the offline agent to the online and I’m able to login with both local and domain. If I restart the now active agent it gets back into this state with the SLDataminer.txt showing the above message repeatedly.
Hi Carlos,
I’ve been able to workaround this by switching my offline agent to online and then I’m able to log in. It’s not really a solution but can help you access the system.
