Unattended DataMiner installation | DataMiner Docs mentions that opensearch currently isn't supported.
If I want to have opensearch can I still use the unattended installer (to install DataMiner and Cassandra) and what do I need to do then to get opensearch installed?
When will opensearch be supported as the help mentions that it's "currently" not supported.
Hi Tim,
The installer is currently not able to do installations of OpenSearch, not attended nor unattended. This was also not possible with ElasticSearch and we didn't get this request in before.
On the current backlog of the lab team, there are 2 tasks. The first one is to make it easier to install and configure databases. This task will then be linked to the second task, updating the current installer to work with this database tool.
We didn't discuss anything yet on supporting the unattended installation of DataMiner with external Databases.
To install Opensearch, this currently needs to be done manually with the steps that you can find here: Installing OpenSearch database
