Hello,

how is it possible to activate/deactivate an alarm template while a daily maintenance (restart) of encoders. The maintenance is daily between 05:15 to 05:30 MEZ and the result is a flood of alarms.
I tried to get a solution, working with "Condition" on a alarm template. Also with Service Templates. Masking/Unmasking the hole element is also not possible on daily repeated events. Can you give me a hint?

Best regards

Gregor

Hi Gregor - on Alarm Templates you can also define a time schedule, maybe this will be a good option for your use case? Scheduling an alarm template | DataMiner Docs

Hi Ben,
I knew I'd read or seen something like that before, either in a video or documentation. But I didn'd remember where. In combination with the option "Alarm Template Groups" this should be the right solution for my problem.
Thank you very much :-).
Best regards

Great! Good to hear. And indeed, it's hard to keep track of all options, but that's what this place is for, to get quick inputs on the options available.
