Starlink released APIv2 last year and are deprecating APIv1 connectivity on 1st May 2026.
The version notes for the Starlink Enterprise connector do not mention any updates for APIv2 support.
Can anyone confirm when APIv2 support will be released please?
Hi Robert, thanks for reaching out and for raising this important question.
Our architects and development team have already aligned on the approach for supporting Starlink API v2, and development work has recently kicked off. While we can’t share an exact release date, our target is set for a release towards end of March 2026.
Leaving at least a full month to schedule the switch over and migrate.
We’ll publish an updated connector to our catalog as soon as it’s ready. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
It’s worth noting that Starlink’s API v2 introduces several foundational changes, particularly around authentication and API key handling. As a result:
- Data collection will move to a poller-based architecture, using dedicated poller elements.
- Retrieved data will be aggregated into a combined element, ensuring functional parity with the current API v1–based implementation.
- The standard low-code apps and dashboards that we ship today will be updated to remain fully compatible with API v2.
In addition, trend and alarm history will remain available. However, due to the underlying API changes, a one-time migration step will be required if you wish to preserve and continue using historical data.
We’ll share detailed migration guidance and release notes closer to the availability of the updated connector. If you have specific concerns around timelines or migration impact in the meantime, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for your detailed response. We'll keep a watch for the release.
