Hi Dojo,

after setting up STaaS, we still see the following message in the System Center in Cube:

Is this expected? To my understanding no further indexing engine is needed when using STaaS, so this message is slightly misleading...

Thanks!

Hi Nils,

This is indeed expected after setting up STaaS because you no longer need to setup an indexing engine yourself.

Kind regards,

Hi Julien,
thanks a lot, good to hear!
Maybe it's worth considering to enhance the message by inserting a reference to STaaS being operational…

Bert Vandenberghe [SLC] [DevOps Enabler] commented 4 days ago

Indeed, it looks like this should not be there when you are running on STaaS. I'll forward this to the correct people. Many thanks!

Pieter Van Compernolle [SLC] [DevOps Enabler] commented 4 days ago

Meanwhile the correct people received the feedback and have a task to follow up on it. Wil keep you posted on the availability but for now, you can indeed safely ignore this configuration section. Thx for reporting!
