Dojo,

I am making an update to a service definition in a production environment where I have ongoing and scheduled bookings. The change itself is adding a new property and value to certain nodes and will have no impact on the existing logic we have in place.

I get this prompt, should I be concerned or I can ignore this warning ?

Hi Wale,

It's not possible to modify Service Definitions while there are Reservations associated to those that are running, at least not without impacting those Reservations. In this case if you are just adding a new property, that should has no impact as the existing logic is not relying on that property, as it's new.
However, in general I'd recommend to let the Reservations to end before proceeding with updates towards Service Definitions.

Kind Regards,
Flávio Jacinto
