SNMPAgent: Mail server

Hi,

This morning I got an hammering notice alarm about this:

DataMiner run-time SNMPAgent: Notification Problem: Mail server (localhost) is unavailable (No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
= 0x8007274dh)

It raise an alarm and then clear it automaticly and then back again.

Any idea why they have started and how I can solve it?

Hi Thomaz

This notice is typically given when the SMTP was misconfigured and Dataminer can't access the mail server. So maybe something changed? Maybe on server or network level?

Could you double check the SMTP configuration on Dataminer? DM Help

And also verify the SMTP server is configured correctly as well. In other words that it's accessable and all needed rights are configured.

This started this night and I think it could be someting related to the network because we haven´t done any work in DM this night.

I investigate this now.
