Hi Dojo,

Is it possible to configure an alarm hyperlink so that users can only click on it for alarms generated by elements of a specific connector?

Hi Jens, the link Tom refers to will indeed show you how you can apply filtering on hyperlinks. Unfortunately, the alarm object in DataMiner does not contain a field or property with the connector name/version. Filtering on connector will as such not be possible out of the box.

If you would succeed to get the connector name in an element (or alarm-) property (and you check the checkbox so that the property is available for alarm filtering), then you could configure your hyperlink to only show up on the alarms of the elements using that specific connector by referring to that property.

Hope that helps.

Hi Jens, see https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Reference/Skyline_DataMiner_Folder/More_information_on_certain_files_and_folders/Hyperlinks_xml.html#filterelement.

This optional attribute can be used to add a conditional hyperlink. The hyperlink will only be displayed for alarms matching the specified filter.
