Hello Dojo,
We are seeing that InterApp messages being sent by a script on one agent to an element hosted on another are getting rejected in the Information events. These errors seem to happen sporadically but happen for consistently for 5-10 minutes when they do happen.

Has anybody else encountered these before and knows how to prevent them?
Thank you for your help,
Bauti
Hi Bautista,
The 5–10-minute duration suggests that one of the DMAs is entering the Refused state This is an SLNet protection mechanism: other Agents temporarily refuse connections from a problematic DMA, by default for 10 minutes.
SLNet - disconnects | DataMiner Docs
Typical triggers are:
Too many connections, exceeding MaxAgentConnectsPerHour.
Too many pending messages for an SLNet subscriber, exceeding QueuedStackOverflow, after which events are dropped and the connection is destroyed. Troubleshooting SLNet Disconnects
I would check the following when it happens:
In System Center > Agents, verify whether either DMA is shown as Refused.
Check the SLNet logging on the faulty/refused DMA. The exact reason is only reported there.
Using SLNetClientTest, inspect MaxAgentConnectsPerHour and QueuedStackOverflow under Advanced > Options > SLNet Options.
Resolve the connection churn or message/event backlog causing the refusal. Changing the thresholds or shortening ConnectionRefusalTime may only hide the underlying load problem. The default refusal time is 10 minutes. ConnectionRefusalTime element
Once the underlying issue has been resolved, the state should clear automatically.
