Set dynamic unit for a single column affects the other columns of the table.

Hi All,

I am currently implementing dynamic units on a table column. Please see the screenshot below.

For column PID 1124, the unit will be changed from bps to Gbps, Mbps, or Kbps based on the value.

The next step I did was to add an extra line in the SoftLaunchOptions.xml to enable the dynamic units display.

Below is the line that I added:

<DynamicUnits>true</DynamicUnits>

However, after I applied my version to the element, the unit of the other columns also changed to the dynamic units. Please see the screenshot below.

May I kindly know if this is the expected behavior? As I expected only the unit of one column would change to the dynamic unit.

Thanks!

Hi Jason,

What you see is the default behavior when activating the DynamicUnits option. Some units are converted out of the box, even if not defined in the connector.

See the following release note for more information: https://docs.dataminer.services/release-notes/General/General_Main_Release_10.1/General_Main_Release_10.1.0_new_features_3.html
