Hi
I believe i installed a self-hosted community version Dataminer agent (in my pc) with data storage on cloud service. In the first couple of days i think my dataminer was working and i can access it locally or remotely using the URL. But now somehow i cannot access my Dataminer anymore.
In the Admin page I can see No cloud connection status.
From dataminer SLCloudStorage.txt i can see following error:
SLCloudStorageConnection.Repositories.Exceptions.CloudSettingsRepositoryException: Failed to do GetCloudAccessTokenRequest. Received the following error messages: { "message": "The Service Principal of this DMS is expired (2026/3/18 2:17:14 +00:00) and cannot be refreshed automatically. Please manually renew the cloud session." }
I only have one elemen and one test protocol in my dataminer agent.
Please help to see how to fix this issue. Thanks
Hi,
It is normal for the cloud sessions to expire if the system has been down for a period of time (multiple days). This can be easily solved by following this procedure.
Kind regards,
Hi Miao,
You can manually renew the cloud sessions using the ClientTestTool. Follow these docs where your DataMiner Agent is offline to renew the cloud connection using button 10.
https://docs.dataminer.services/dataminer/DataMiner_Tools/SLNetClientTest_tool/SLNetClientTest_tool_advanced_procedures/SLNetClientTest_debugging_cloud_connection.html?q=renewcloudconnection .
Also make sure that all DxM Services are running.
If this does not solve your issue please send us an email at support.cloud.ecosystem@skyline.be.
Kind regards
