Script to transfer local DMA users to LDAP domain users

Hi,

We would like to transfer local DMA users to LDAP domain users according to login name. Is there a script that will add massively domain users with the same logins as local and rewrite them permissions (groups)?

probably NO but please confirm?

Hi Piotr,

sorry for the late confirmation but this is indeed not possible, the group permissions are all configured in the security.xml file but we also have a cache to know when a user was updated to push the latest updates throughout the cluster

This is located in the C:\Skyline DataMiner\Files\SyncInfo folder

So it means if you update users manually these are the 2 locations that you need to keep an eye on, unfortunately we don't have a script to bulk edit these things (yet)
