Resources – what’s the different behavior between state maintenance and unavailable?

Hi Dojo,

It's possible to put a resource in state Maintenance or Unavailable. What's the difference in behavior?

Hi Jens,
I can do say the following about Maintenance mode of a resource:
- You can only put resources in Maintenance when the resource is not used by any reservation.
- It is not possible to delete a resource from the system if the mode is set on Maintenance.

This is something extra on top of Unavailable mode.

Does this mean that the logic flow is putting the resource in Unavailable mode so that it can’t be used booked anymore so that it eventually can be put in Maintenance mode?

I’m not entirely sure on what you mean with logic flow, I do believe your customized use case. You can put resource directly in Maintenance mode if conditions are met, if that’s your question.
