I was exploring the new Reports and Dashboards, I would like to take data from 2 tables, linked ofcourse by some common identifier, and present them in common table for reporting. Is this possible?
Hi Ramya,
The functionality you describe will soon be available in DataMiner Dashboards.
In our next feature (10.0.13) and main release (10.1.0) we'll have a new feature called 'Generic Query Interface' or GQI. With this feature you will be able to take data from different sources (tables from elements, element lists, services lists and later on booking data, ticketing data, ...) and play with it. The end result can be displayed in a table and playing in this case means filtering rows & columns, adding extra columns, topX the rows, Aggregate the data and doing joins with other data sources.
Besides displaying this data in a table, you can also present it in a nice column/bar/pie/donut chart.
10.0.13 feature release is expected around December 4th 2020
10.1.0 main release is expected around February 26th 2021
If you have a recent feature release version (in 10.0.8 we introduced 'join' operations) on your staging platform, you can consider to enable a softlaunch option for GQI. More information on softlaunch options can be found in https://community.dataminer.services/documentation/soft-launch-options/
