RemoveLegacyCorrelation – error in time upgrade Agent DMA

Hi All.

I see a problem when upgrading the DMA agent from version 10.4.0 to version 10.5.3, a message like RemoveLegacyCorrelation. This is a simple upgrade of one agent without failover functionality.
Below is a screenshot of the error.
How to remove this correlation ???

Hi Jaroslaw,

You can follow the workaround mentioned in Verify No Legacy Correlation | DataMiner Docs to get rid of legacy correlation rules. After that, running the upgrade should be successful.

Hi.
I don't want to delete these Correlations rules.

Do I have to delete them? Can I somehow convert them to the new engine before upgrading to DMA 10.5.3 yet?

Hi Jaroslaw,
Unfortunately, you cannot convert them to the new engine.
You will have to rebuild them as mentioned in https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Advanced_Modules/Correlation/Managing_Correlation_rules/Adding_a_new_Correlation_rule.html.

You can go to C: –> Skyline DataMiner –> Correlation folder and take a copy of the xml files (old correlation rules) and preserve them elsewhere. You can use those to create the new correlation rules.
