What if you want to monitor PTP in 2 absolutely independent networks:
In network “1” you have Grandmaster A, boundary clocks, and slave devices, and it is PTP domain 23; in network “2” you have Grandmaster B, other boundary clocks, and slave devices, and it is a different PTP domain: 24.
Can you have 2 DataMiner PTP apps in the system in such a case?

We did look around in the market to see if we could find use cases for this, but we didn’t find any with this use case in a production environment.

Because of this, it was decided to not support this in the current version.

If there would be a good use case, this feature could potentially be added in a future version of the PTP APP.
