I would like to have your advice here regarding an issue with faced this morning when we used the “clean up unused” item through System Center/tools page to delete all our unused protocols.

Actually we’re using 2 Agents which are used as “clusters” and we noticed that when we deleted one of our unused protocol on the list (Konnect v 1.1.0.0) on our DM1 Agent , it appeared that this version of this protocol was still in used on the DM1. Therefore when we relaunched our DM1 agent, this protocol was no more listed in the protocol list therefore we were unable to load all the elements which appeared on the view using this protocol.

When checked the same on our DM2 agent and before starting to delete the unused protocol (Konnect 1.1.0.0) in the list , we noticed that this protocol was still in used as well.

So my question here is :

How is it possible that this protocol which is listed in the “cleanup unused protocol” list , is still in use on our both Agent ?

To solve the issue we had to re load this protocol manually on DM1.

Please check why this issue happened
