Hi Dojo,
I had a notice alarm in my DMS reporting that, for one agent, there was an error when trying to synchronize a script. It appears the issue originated at the Windows level, for example, the file was in use at the time, which temporarily blocked the update and triggered the sync error notice in DataMiner.
However, it then seems that DataMiner tried to synchronize the script again, which then succeeded, as confirmed by the information events.
If the file was successfully synchronized afterward, shouldn’t the notice alarm be automatically cleared?
Hi Catarina,
The notices are indeed not automatically cleared if the operation eventually succeeds. They only get cleared on restart of the agent or if you manually clear them.
Having the software clear them automatically will require some work to implement, but is definitely something to consider. Feel free to propose this as a new feature.
Kind regards,
