There have been discussion that the Alerter software is going to be a legacy software and will be replaced with a new application in the same way that the new Dashboards web application replaced the legacy Reports and dashboards. Does anyone know what the current status is or whether this going to happen? I might also be mistaken and there is no plans to replace the Alerter.

Hi Fares - the plan is to integrate / migrate the Alerter features and capabilities into the Cube client application, which since a while also resides in the system tray (and to use standard Windows notifications). But to my knowledge this is currently not very high on the list of priorities.
