Multiple set in Automation

Solved337 views3 days agoAutomation script automation scripts multiple set SetParameter

I am wondering if doing a multiple set like the one pictured is possible in an automation script? Currently i can loop through the table and set them one by one but this causes the connector to send multiple requests to the device which really slows it down. Doing the multiple set from the connector table causes the connector to send a bulk request which in theory is much faster. I assume this would be the same behavior in an automation script if i can queue up the changes just as shown below.

Hi Steve,

Benjamin had a similar question on this.

Similar to your solution, Cube also loops over the needed parameters, setting the parameters using the SetParameter method when pressing the “All parameters”-button.

For now there isn’t a bulk method to set multiple parameters at once.

I see, I did manage to get a good solution using SLNET message SetMultipleParametersMessage. Although, yes it still may loop through in the background, this was fast enough for the connector to group it all into one set instead of multiple.
