Multiple Set Dialog Table Index shows Display Key but want Primary Key

The Multiple Set Dialog, Table Index field shows Display Key but want Primary Key

This is contrary to other posts on here where they were getting Primary Key but wanted Display key.

I cannot see any release notes to suggest this has changed from the previously confirmed primary key in the dialog box.

Confirm Multiple Set Dialog Shows Index Instead of Display Key – Can It Show Display Keys?

New Feature Suggestion

In my screenshot the S2X Demod param 4015 is the display key "SLOT 3 INPUT 1" but I actually want the 1.3 format.

Hi Sam,

The Table Index list is populated with the table’s display keys, and the selected value is submitted through the display-key route. There is currently no Cube setting or connector configuration that allows this dialog to use primary keys instead.

We also checked the older Dojo question: Multiple Set Dialog Table Index shows Display Key but want Primary Key - DataMiner Dojo. Its answer states that a confirmation popup shows the primary key, but this does not match the current native Multiple Set flow, which validates the value and sends the set directly. It may therefore have been a misunderstanding of the terminology or a reference to a different UI path.

The display-key behavior in the native Multiple Set Table Index list has not changed in the available source history, at least since 2020. The corresponding set-message behavior is also present in older code.

If setting by primary key is required, this would need to be handled through a custom QAction, Automation/API workflow, or a future Cube enhancement.
