MatrixHelper – GetMatrixLockFromOptions NullReferenceException fixed by duplicating element?

Hi all - We have two elements across 2 protocols experiencing this error/not loading matrix crosspoints/labels:

This is happening across 2 different protocols: Imagine Communications Platinum VX CQ Router and Evertz XRF4. Imagine is using the new Matrix Nuget, while Evertz is using the old Class Library, though we've tested the Evertz with the Nuget and it does not work until you duplicate the element.

Both protocols are using only MatrixHelperForMatrix, as opposed to the MatrixHelperForMatrixAndTables.

Obviously duplicating element is not a good solution for all customers - has anyone found this error before and know what could be causing it?

Hi Alex, can you check if the ports.xml or equivalent file is still valid? I suspect it might somehow have become corrupted and a new one is created for the new element, which fixes the issue.
