We need to do some changes on multiple DM systems with hundreds of elements and are wondering if those can be automated using the API or another type of scripting.

We need to:

• Change element HTTP command timeout, retry and timeout setting
• Change element SNMP command timeout, retry and timeout setting
• Change the switching logic of existing Redundancy Groups

On at least 7 DM systems and a total of at least 1000 elements.

Of course, this all must not be service affecting.

Anybody done this already and has some examples and precautions?
