Manual BrokerGateway migration failing

Hi,

I want to migrate my local Agent to BrokerGateway. Both automatic and manual actions are failing. When doing the manual migration, I see that the IP address used is different then the one assigned to my Agent. How can I make sure that the correct IP address is used?

Hi,

Since the BrokerGateway migration has to work separate from DataMiner, it needs to know the intended endpoints for the new nats cluster. It fetches these from C:\Skyline DataMiner\Configurations\ClusterEndpoints.json. This file gets populated with all known ips from all agents in the cluster and synced around.

If the migration mentions unexpected ips when it says "Cluster consists of following endpoints:", this likely means this file is corrupt, or that DataMiner is somehow unaware of all the endpoints in the cluster.

We've seen this happen when the server has frequent ip changes, or if virtual adapters are present.

You can manually edit this file before migration to ensure the correct ip(s) are present for the migration though.
