Low Code Apps – Acknowledge Alarms

Solved1.04K views23rd December 2022alarm property table low code app low-code

I would like to add an alarm panel to a low-code app and allow techs to be able to mask or acknowledge the active alarms. We would like the app to be a one-stop shop for our users so they do not have to load Dataminer Cube. Please let me know if this is possible, and if so, am I missing a setting on the low-code app?

Thank you

Hi Jeremy

Great use case for a low code app!
We are currently working on extending the alarm console in Low code apps (and in dashboards, Monitoring app, as it’s the same component) because we are very aware that the current version of that alarm console is limited .
Is masking and acknowledging the alarms the only activity you want to provide to your users?

By the way, these limitations should not prevent you from creating an app like you described. Not sure how familiar you are already with GQI queries, but in recent versions you can create a query filtering on active alarms:

if you visualize the result in a table, play a bit with coloring and use scripts for your actions, I believe you can create already something nice today:
