We have a cluster with 25 agents in which we need to enable LDAP synchronization. Do we need to enable LDAP synchronization for all of the agents or can we just enable this on a few agents and have the changes propagate to the whole cluster?

You have 2 methods to get the LDAP updates, through notifications or with an hourly scheduled task. They are both enabled by default (but that might change towards the future)
Depending on the size of your domain it could be recommended to only have the hourly updates to avoid a huge volume of notifications being pushed to DataMiner.
While the security will be eventually synchronized through the cluster i would still recommend to enable the LDAP hourly sync on all agents to make sure they get the updates all as soon as possible.
