LCA Parameter Table – Button Params Missing

Solved821 views9th February 2024button low code app parameter table

Hello All,

A protocol table features a Delete button column which allows the user to delete the corresponding row on that table:

I am attempting to add that same Delete button parameter to a Parameter Table component on a low code app. I am finding that when filtering down on available parameters based on Protocol, the Delete buttons are not available. They are missing entirely from the list of available parameters to drag over to the parameter table component.

However, when filtering down on available parameters based on Element, the Delete buttons are available.

This does not work for my use case though because that particular Delete parameter once dragged into the parameter table is tied to a specific element. My parameter table data needs to remain dynamic based on element selection.

The delete buttons are displayed on the Parameter table component if I drag over the entire protocol table “Processed Messages table” (when filtered on Protocol). This also does not work for me due to extra undesired parameters being included. I am unable to apply additional parameter filtering at this point because I then lose access to the delete button column.

How can I include the Delete button column on the parameter table next to other explicitly selected columns, and have it remain dynamic based on element selection?

Thank you in advance.

This should indeed be consistent, selecting parameters from protocol vs from element. I would expect the same parameters. Can you create a task on Collaboration to have this fixed?
