I'm in an environment where the device which we're trying to access its thumbnails is not directly accessible to each of the endpoints. Therefore, I tried to add to the "allowed paths" in the DataMiner proxy as shown here: Allowed paths in case of connection via DataMiner proxy.
(Note that I also tried "&proxy=true" on the URL, but the same results below were shown)
However, on the network logs, it still mentions trying to get the thumbnail image from the device itself instead of using the DataMiner proxy to get it through the DataMiner agent
Is this intentional or is there some other parts I can try to get access to these images on computers that don't have direct access to the device.
The proxy is only supported when using thumbnails (in the url: type=Generic%20Images) and is enabled by default. Using the proxy, the thumbnail image is fetched through the DMA. When the proxy is disabled, the image is fetched directly from the client (which is also the case when using type=MJPEG).
