I’ve noticed that the filter component in the Low Code app does not allow negative values to be defined. In my specific case, I am working with the dBm parameter, which is naturally recorded using negative numbers.
This limitation prevents me from setting appropriate ranges to classify signal strength. For example, it is not currently possible to define a filter between -110 and -80 dBm. While I understand that converting the values to positive numbers might be a workaround, it would not be technically appropriate since signal strength values in dBm are always expressed as negative.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could consider this limitation and let me know if there’s a possible solution or adjustment to the component.
Thank you very much in advance for your attention.
Hi Gerrardo,
Thanks for reporting this issue, it has been placed on our backlog. Until this issue is fixed, a couple of workarounds exist. Filtering with negative values can be achieved by either using the arrow keys, or first typing in the number and placing a '-' in front afterwards.
With kind regards,
Thibault
