Is there a way to remove the DIS extension on the version of a in-house protocols

A few DIS releases ago, DIS added that when you copy the solution on Visual studio, it changes the version value to the same version but adds _DIS to the version. For example, if I have a protocol with version 1.0.0.1, when I compile the solution, it changes the version to 1.0.0.1_DIS.
This is great for development, but once we release the version then we have to manually edit the protocol once it is decompiled, or create a package and upload to the system following all the security measurements. Is there a way to choose how you want to compile the solution when you simply copy to clipboard?
Or is there a way to sign our in-house solutions?

Hi,

Could the checkbox "As Development" be unchecked and then try again?

Regards,
