We are submitting VM requirements list for a project and in that we are required to advise the storage type for DataMiner, Cassandra and Elastic node. The selection provided are File/Block/Object type storage. Which one is the correct storage type for each node?

Block storage is used by instances/VMs for consistent data storing and this is what should be used for the standard DataMiner, Cassandra, and Elastic installations.
File/object storage such as S3 only provide eventual consistency.
