Is the dbconfiguration.xml synchronized with the failover pair during the failover enable?

Hi,

Is the dbconfiguration.xml (C:\Skyline DataMiner\Database\) automatically synchronized upon adding a factory reset DMA as a failover to an existing DMA that is configured to make use of multiple ES clusters or would a user need to manually configure the blank agent before enabling the failover?

Thanks in advance,

Hey Ciprian,

The Dataminer Docs has the following to say on this topic.

This relates both to syncing in a cluster and syncing to a failover partner.

Thanks for the confirmation, Brent. I believe that the documentation could be updated to clarify that the failover enable does not facilitate this procedure as the DMS sync and the Failover (enable) are different features.
