Is replication supported across different major DataMiner versions?

Hi,

Can we replicate elements/services from one cluster to another in case those clusters run on different major versions?

More specifically, I'd like to know for versions 9.6 <> 10.1 (main release)

  • Support for replication 9.6 -> 10.1?
  • Support for replication 10.1 -> 9.6?

The source and replication DMA must use the same DataMiner version. (source: Replicated elements | DataMiner Docs). Otherwise, you can run into unexpected issues affecting the replicated elements or the DMAs as a whole.
