Hello,

Is it possible to have a dashboard with a table displaying:

  1. DMA hostname
  2. DMA active elements
  3. DMA integrated elements
  4. DMA License number

Thank you.

Best regards

Bruno Sousa

Hi Bruno,
Not directly possible at the moment, unless you have/make that information available in a driver/protocol/connector?

But we have an interesting feature in the pipeline in which you will be able to link an automation script (where you can load all kinds of data and structure that data in a total custom way) to GQI.

With this, you’ll have a lot more flexibility in data retrieval/manipulation in your dashboards.

Pieter,

I have this information in the DMA report that is out of box from Dataminer.. although I would like to have it in a dashboard.

Can I have a report with this information only? (so I can share with other users, without having to share all the CPU, Memory, Disk.. information)

Thank you.

You probably refer to the ‘DMS Info’ block in the ‘DataMiner Reports’?
We don’t have this information available at the moment in our dashboards, but if you are happy with the info provided by the ‘DMS Info’ block, you can use that and share this with other users via email (you can send those emails from automation, correlation & scheduler and have a pdf included with the report).

There is a way to achieve this: as suggested by Pieter, you’d need the same info of the report made available in a protocol, so that live data can be added on the elements representing the different DataMiner agents in a view. Compared to the report, the live overview would give the possibility to emebed status & license info in a single screen. Something to check with a TAM or a deploy squad, until it becomes a standard feature at some point, as this requirement is very common in any environment with more than 2 DMAs.
