Initialising a session variable from a parameter

I’m initialising a session variable from a parameter Set|PageVariable|EventStatus|[param:DMAID/ElementID,2002,[this service]]|SetTrigger=ValueChanged which works fine if something is returned from the table, but all variables fail to initialise if there’s no corresponding row in the table, how can I get round this?

The documentation seems more limited on this than it should be, but have you tried adding “AllowEmptyDynamicValues” to your Options page data?
