Information Template – Override Alarm Property with Parameter Value

When editing an information template for Parameter A, is it possible to override an alarm property so that its value is set to the value of Parameter A?

When I try to do this and add a parameter to the alarm property value, the list of available parameters does not include Parameter A.

Hi Catarina,

This is not possible from the information template. You could take a look at the properties and PropertyNames attributes of the alarm tag, which have a similar function, but require a change in the connector code. You can find more info on these in options attribute | DataMiner Docs
