Hi all,

I wonder if and where in the catalog I can download available CI types. Is this possible?

Hi Koen,

Currently, the catalog does not have any CI Types.

Still, it is the goal to eventually leverage the catalog to share several IDP-related items such as CI Types and custom scripts (Configuration Management, Software Update, ...)

Is there a way to figure out what CI-types we currently have by default available?

Hi Glenn, IDP does not come with any default CI Types when you install it but we do have a few internally at Skyline that can be easily adapted if needed.

From IDP itself, you do not have default ones included but there is a feature that allows you to create an initial version of a CI Type for any/all connectors you have installed in your system with a few clicks and then you just have to provide some simple settings to customize to your use case.

Glenn, I believe it’s also the idea that for our main connectors, the packages we are aiming to create contain example CI Types alongside the connector, dashboards and other components.
