We need to migrate multiple service templates from a DMA that will be decommissioned to another DMA in the same DMS. The service templates do have generated services and will be used as before.
Is the process same as when migrating a standard service (export, delete, import)? Or are there any other specific steps needed?

We figured this out, using a following workaround.
SOURCE-DMA with DMA ID 1234 is the agent currently holding the service template definition in C:\Skyline DataMiner\Services\ServiceTemplateToMove
All other DMAs have the definition in C:\Skyline DataMiner\RemoteServices\1234\ServiceTemplateToMove
To migrate the service template to DEST-DMA with DMA ID 5678
-on DEST-DMA delete C:\Skyline DataMiner\RemoteServices\1234\ServiceTemplateToMove
-move the folder C:\Skyline DataMiner\Services\ServiceTemplateToMove from SOURCE-DMA to same folder on DEST-DMA
-on all DMAs except DEST-DMA move C:\Skyline DataMiner\RemoteServices\1234\ServiceTemplateToMove to C:\Skyline DataMiner\RemoteServices\5678\ServiceTemplateToMove
-copy C:\Skyline DataMiner\RemoteServices\5678\ServiceTemplateToMove from any DMA except DEST-DMA to SOURCE-DMA
-restart all DMAs in the DMS
