After following the steps described in the catalog, opening the ports, and creating the element with its credentials (with access to the API), it has not been possible to obtain data in the Dataminer element, nor is it possible to see the traffic in the streamviewer. Is there any trick or implicit step to take into account?

note: Bad Request is the only response visible in the "connection status" parameter.

Hi Carlos,
Would it be possible to check the Firmware version of the device and compare it to the driver help? Could it be that your device runs a higher firmware version?

Carlos Morales [SLC] [DevOps Member] commented 12th April 2024

Hi Frederic,
You are correct, The version is 23.01.01, which is higher than the version supported in the catalog: v21.00.01
I wonder if more people have the same problem.

Hi Carlos,

I was successful in getting an element up and running with a device on firmware version V23.  Worth double checking as well the security/account configuration on the device itself.  If you have access to the UI, you should be able to double check if the user account you are using to set up the API connection with the device in the element is entitled to use the REST API.

Maybe this REST security group flag is not enabled for your user account.
