What is the procedure for Skyline partners to upload developed connectors to the DataMiner Catalog? Also, what is the process for customers to request and purchase a connector from the Skyline partner that owns the connector if required?
Anybody can upload artifacts to the DataMiner Catalog and choose between either PRIVATE or PUBLIC visibility.
- Artifacts published as PRIVATE will only be visible to, and deployable by, users within your own organization.
- Artifacts published as PUBLIC are visible to, and deployable by, anybody.
The DataMiner Catalog does not provide license or payment mechanisms to control access to public artifacts. Therefore, it is the publisher's responsibility to include the appropriate license terms and conditions (and contact details, if necessary) to clarify any restrictions on usage, such as evaluation, production use, redistribution, etc. Publishers should also specify if any payments are required for specific types of use. Or any other relevant information such as terms and means for support.
