Is there a description available that defines what a DataMiner service and a "session" is? Are there any limitations on the service complexity, main & backup service calculation, in-service actions, number of connected resources, number of sources and destinations, etc.?
In SRM we talk about Booking instance : A definition of which resources are used, how much of them is used, and when they are used. With booking instances, you can indicate which resources are in use at any point in time. Booking instances are indicated on the occupancy timeline in the Resources app.
Booking instances can have “sub-bookings”, which in turn are also booking instances, making it possible to create more complex bookings. While the time slot for booking instances is defined in UTC format, the timing of sub-bookings is determined relative to that of the parent booking instance.
In theory, you can make a single booking as complex as you desire (including redundancy, in-service actions, any number of resources etc.) and in practice, a booking is most often related to an 'event' : a set of resources and actions that are used together within the same period of time (same beginning and same end time).
